The team has been putting in a great effort this year while focusing on team bonding. The varsity players already have good team chemistry, but in an effort to grow as a team even more, they have dinner together every Thursday night.

The team has a 2-2 record so far this year. When asked if it is a challenge having such a wide range of ages and skill levels, Kapustka said, “Yes, they still have a lot to learn. We just have to be patient and trust each other.” The players already have good chemistry with each other on the court, but their coach wants them to step up with their attitudes. “When they get on the court they need to know that they are being challenged,” Kapustka said.
The head coach's goal for the team is simple: to get better every day and work as a team. Stay tuned to see how they progress individually, as well as excel as a unit in the rest of the season.
